Taking home a Burmilla
Taking a kitten home is very exciting.
All of our Burmilla Kittens are registered with The Cat Control Council of Tasmania Inc and will go to their new home with a copy of their pedigree.
Burmilla are very athletic, affectionate and intelligent cats. Both male and female love to play and or sit quietly on their human and be stroked. We have experienced daily the comical behaviour of our Burmilla. Be it a box, piece of paper or a cat toy Burmilla will appreciate the gift and spend hours playing.

Happy Pet We raise our kittens to be accustomed to house hold noise, children, other cats and pet crates.
Introduce your new kitten slowly to his/her new environment. Show your new kitten her new bed, food bowl and litter box, introduce existing pets slowly and allow your new kitten and older pet a safe place to run and hide, they will need time. We recommend a common interest of chasing a cat toy as a way to introduce Kittens and Older cats. Your new Burmilla baby should be ready to leave home between the ages of 12 and 14 weeks. |
Emergency House CallsOur Kittens are raised indoors.
To prevent emergencies that may arise from allowing your kitten out doors, we recommend new owners contain their new kitten to their property to prevent kitty from being struck by a car, losing her way home, being injured, getting sick or stolen . Burmilla love exploring and playing right through adult hood, with this in mind we recommend confining your new baby entirely indoors or in a secure out door run. Burmilla will climb if given the chance so be sure to cover the top of any out door enclosure. |
Happy HeartWe feed our Kittens high quality Kitten food, Kitten biscuit's, fresh mince, steamed chicken and chicken drum sticks or necks.
Your Kitten has been raised on a high quality Kitten food, however we are aware that you may choose your own brand. We recommend introducing your new kitten to new foods slowly and in small quantities mixed with our brand to prevent upset tummies or allergies. Upset tummies over a period of time is not good for kittens and can cause dehydration. We do not recommend a 100% dry food diet. |
Vaccines
Every Kimpari Burmilla will leave our care vaccinated, micro-chipped, vet check and desexed. Your kitten will be free of parasites and wormed.
